Congratulations! You just received your YachtEye system.

This article contains all the information you need to know to unbox and quick start the YachtEye system.

The YachtEye-unit comes wrapped and securely packed in a double carton box. Please unpack the unit immediately and check for any damages and completeness of the delivery.
Damages reported later than 48 hours after delivery of the unit are not eligible to be resolved under warranty.
Please also take note of the Windows license key and YachtEye serial number for reference. These can be found on (the rear of) the front panel, or on the side of the server.

To get the YachtEye system up and running, take care of the following:

• Cabling: NMEA (via the serial port or the network), Audio/Video, Network and Power.
• Mounting of the server in the rack.
• Configure the COM ports for NMEA.
• Verify NMEA data.
• YachtEye options in the YachtEye Management Portal (YMP).
• Final commissioning: Please contact Support when the unit is installed and NMEA has been setup and configured in the YachtEye Collector application. A Final check, which might include some changes to the software or 3D model, will then be carried by an Oculus Technologies engineer.
